Whiskey for my men, beer for the horses

This is one of the first times that Steve and I recorded on location. We recorded the show at Steve's bar in the basement of the Whiddon compound. The audio is a little soft so you might want to pump up the volume. The content is something you can't really do anything about other than turn off your Mp3 player.

Steve and I tried 5 different brands of whiskey. Some Irish, some American. Some good, some not so good. Some, like Old Grandpa or something like that was truly awful. That said, both Steve and I are complete Marys when it comes to hard liquor. We like white Russians and margaritas.

Enjoy the show!

Spring Break, Portland Maine and candlepin bowling

Tonight Steve and I talk about many different things. Steve's spring break vacation. My vacation in Maine. We have all sorts of good reasons why we haven' had a show in the past couple of weeks. Well, today we bring you a nice shortish show with a couple of fun songs. One is called Boku and is from Japan and the other is from Meatloaf's Bat Out of Hell CD. I love that whole record. If you have not heard the song Two Out of Three Ain't Bad, you are in for a treat. (Please don't judge Meat on his recent commercial for that cellphone.)

Here is that picture Steve had taken while he was on Vacation that we were talking about. Which one do you think is on television? This guy apparently has a show on the Food Network though I have not seen it. I'm a big fan of Gordon Ramsey who has shows on Fox and other channels. Hell's Kitchen is not the one I watch, the other one. What the hell is its name? I forget but it's where he helps struggling restaurants out. Helps = yells a lot at everyone. Yea?

I went to Maine to visit my 31 year-old sister and went candlepin bowling. Lots of fun, though frustrating for a tenpin bowler like myself. It is fun throwing those small balls real hard. Check out the video of my sister Jennie, her fiancée Morgan and myself doing our best.

Enjoy the show and Go Capitals!

Michael
