It's Fall Baby!
Steve and I are back from a long break and talking about our favorite subject. Beer! Specifically, Oktoberfest beer. This is the month of Oktoberfest so if you have not already done so, go out and pick up some Sam Adams "Octoberfest" or some other type. You can check out the beers Steve and I like here.
Because I said I would show everyone, here is a picture of me from the beach. Yes, I did wear this in public. It really looks better when Mike (on the far left) wore his. Oh well. Sadly I tossed the shirt into the dryer and it shrank to the size of a face cloth.

The opening song was Jack Black's "School of Rock" in appreciation of Steve heading back to school for another nine month tour of duty. The closing song was K. C. & the Sunshine Band's "Shake Your Booty" in tribute to my happy hour at the Piratz Tavern earlier today. You can check out the pictures from my pirate night at my Flickr page.

Thanks for the throwback to "School of Rock." Sam Octoberfest always means that fall is around the corner, but for a true New England adventure I would also recommend Shipyard's Pumpkinhead Ale if you can find it. Velvety and creamy, plus it's got a fun name (gotta love that).
I will have to try that one. I have had a Shipyard from time to time but I can't remember if I had a pumpkin ale or not. Most pumpkin ales I have had seem to have too much nutmeg for my taste but I will give it a shot.
Thanks for the comment!
Michael
I don't know... I tried one "Pumpkin" related beer last year and it was one of the most vile concoctions I have ever thrown down mu gullet. That was Blue Moon Harvest Pumpkin Ale, I think, but I'm willing to give the Shipyard's a try. If I remember. Which I won't. Remember, beer kills brain cells... but only the weak ones.
