This Week's Half-Assed Dead Air Podcast

Today Steve and I tried something a little different. Steve and I were not able to meet together this week to do our normally hilarious DAP show. To usher in the new month of June without a new podcast seemed to be a bad idea. Then we had a worse idea, to each podcast at different times of the day and push it all together late at night before I go to bed.

The opening song was awesome. Not sure who did it, but it was funny. Kind of goes with the whole 30th anniversary of Star Wars this month.
Steve gave us some ideas on how to avoid "the fuzz" when being chased in your car. Remember, only morons who want tickets pull over. With the right pointers anyone can out run a cop!

I mostly talked about my new online obsession, twitter. You can follow my twitter at http://twitter.com/nonoboy or click here.

That's all we have this week, we will make up for it next time.

DAP Gets Letigious On Your Ass!

On this week's episode, we discuss America's pastime... frivolous lawsuits! We review an article from The Personal Injury Lawyer Directory -- The 10 Most Ridiculous Lawsuits Of All Time. From the suit filed against McDonald's for their hot coffee, the one that started it all, to the genius who sued himself somehow figuring the government would pick up the tab. We hit 4 of the top 10 for you. Check out the Dead Air Podcast Digg page to read the whole list!

Also, enjoy The Isley Brothers' Summer Breeze and one of the most frequently illegally downloaded songs. We didn't download it illegally, of course. You'll just have to listen to the podcast to see what it is.

[editors note: Michael here, I think Marvin Gaye's song, "Let's Get It On" is one of the most downloaded songs. I don't think anyone has done the dirty deed to the version of Summer Breeze we played.]

Looky, No Touchy

On this week's podcast we explore the mysterious and fascinating world of the Gentleman's Club. This is probably not one you should listen to loudly at work! Unless you want to. But then don't bitch to us if you get canned! Be sure to check out the DAP Digg Page to read the entire article we talked about on this weeks episode.

Be sure to check out Amazon (or another reputable music vendor) for the songs we used on this week's podcast: Perfect Gentleman by Wyclef Jean and No Sex by Chris Rock. Don't you go stealing music you sons of bitches!

Guess who Steve and Michael met this week?

After going to the "Weird Al" concert in Baltimore, Steve and I give our $0.02 on the concert and our, all be it brief, meeting with Mr. Yankovic himself. We talk about the bar, the fans and of course the music in tonight's podcast. The two songs are a little of the old and a little of the new. The opening song was from Al's latest CD Straight Outta Lynwood. Albuquerque is from the Running With Scissors album.

Uh..a little privacy please!

I joined my friends at the JET Alumni Association and volunteered at the 2007 Washington D.C. servathon. We spent a few hours painting this restroom in a Jr. High School in South East Washington D.C. We HAD to break it in!

(p.s. Susan really made a mess...with the paint! Sickos!)
