George Takei's message to Tim Hardaway

It's one to grow on. How many people didn't know Sulu was gay until just now?

DAP Geeks out on HDTV

Tonight's podcast we geek out about our new HDTV sets. Never heard of HDTV? Not likely if you listen to podcasts, but just in case we talk a lot (more than we should) about the new technology out there for the man who doesn't want to spend more than $1,500 on a new television.

The show was recorded on Skype via PowerGramo. I don't think it sounds too bad but let me know what you think and send me a quick note to the deadairpodcast@gmail.com inbox.

The opening song was none other than "Weird Al" Yankovic and his wonderful Frank's 2000 inch TV. You can find that on his Alapalooza album which is for sale on his website, weirdal.com.

The closing song was from the band Gnarls Barkley, "Transformers" which you can find at Amazon.com.

Don't forget to check us out on itunes if you are not already subscribed to our podcast. You can also keep track of the websites we are digging, over at digg.com/users/deadairpodcast. There you will find all the articles we talk about on the show and others we never get to. Check out the HDMI story if you are interested in finding the best prices for HDMI cables and how much of a ripoff buying them at stores like Best Buy can be.

You can also check out the pictures of our new HDTV sets over at our Flickr group. Just click here!

Check Out This Shiznit!

Okay, maybe it's because I'm a musician that this appeals to me, but, as Adam Sandler said in The Wedding Singer, "I'm the one with the microphone, so you will listen to every damn word I have to say."

Peace, bitches!

How was your Superbowl Sunday?

Let it snow, let it snow let it snow. As Dean Martin once said, ain't it a kick in the head? Welcome back to an all new Dead Air Podcast. Tonight we talk about the recent winterly weather the East coast has been hit with as well as some great drinking stories.

Chris gives us another dirty joke for the podcast which you can hear at the end of the show. If you have something you wants tens of people to hear, send us a voice mail to deadairpodcast@gmail.com and I'll put it in the show.

Steve and I added more pictures to the DAP Flickr group. Here are a couple of the many drunk pictures I have added to the group.

Check out the stories both Steve and I dugg at digg.com/users/deadairpodcast or individualy at digg.com/users/nonoboy or digg.com/users/cheezdoodle/

A Superbowl commercial I don't remember ever seeing

What was your favorite Superbowl commercial this year? Here is one I found on YouTube form years ago (I guess) that I was shocked made it to TV.
