I've been saying I need a laptop

I could use this at work...wait a minute. Forget I said that. I really would like a nice laptop but it would be hard to justify the cost as I just spent so much money on the PC at home. Canada seems to have the best commercials. Shitty, shitty beer (not that American beer is any good either) but great commercials.

New Podcast is Up and Ready!

Steve and I recently got back to our roots and did a loud long review of Weird Al's latest opus, Straight Out of Lynwood. It took me a few days to upload this podcast as my RCN internet really blows. I am down to almost no upload capability and low download speeds as well. On the plus side I have about three days worth of backed up podcasts to listen to so I have time before things get desperate!

RCN Can Eat My Ass!

RCN, my local internet provider, can eat my ass.



This is one of dozens of tests I ran on my system this weekend. As you can see my download is not bad but my upload is terrible. To put it into perspective, my upload at work (where I am sending this post) is 260 kB/s. As a result I can't upload the latest podcast Steve and I created. But I'm working on it. I wish I had a thumb drive; I would upload it here at work. I'll try to do something this week if RCN doesn't fix the problem soon. Stupid Internet! I can't get my truck into the tubes!
