Hey USA, Happy 230th!

OK, the US is 230 next week and I have to say she looks good for her age. Unlike that girl from Buck Rogers. (above) I think that the famous American Dan Quayle said it best: "We're going to have the best-educated American people in the world!" Who can argue with that? So have a fun weekend and try to get Monday off if you haven't already. Remember, you can call in sick but if your boss still doesn't let you off tell him you got trichomonas. When he asks what that is sound like you can't believe anyone in the world can be that ignorant while you tell him to Google it. That should get you Monday off. Maybe the rest of the week too!

Have a great holiday and don't play with fireworks naked. Trust me on that.

Government To Defend Marriage From Dashing Reginald St. Croix, Esq.

When will he be stopped? Why won't our leaders do something about this real problem and worry about flag burning later? Who will protect our innocent, gullible and plain stupid women folk?

Futurama is back! Well, kind of...

I love Futurama. It's good to see Bender again, even if it is to plug Al Gore's new movie. Has anyone seen it yet? Click here and you can see the trailor. Scary stuff.

World Cup Soccer!

OK, as an American I found myself in a strange situation when in 2002 I happened to be living in Japan when the World Cup came to town. I thought I would ignore it like I had when it was in America 1994 but I found it impossible. The Japanese (and the Koreans who co-hosted the Cup) went soccer mad and I got caught up in the spirit of the competition. It did not hurt that the USA team did well that year and there was nothing else on the television. Well four years later I find myself still interested in the World Cup and was watching the England vs. Trinidad game yesterday in the only office with a TV. It reminded me of the 1950's college stunt of cramming as many people as possible into a telephone booth, that office was packed. We even had a native of Trinidad in the group and I think I was the only one routing for England. After a long 80 minutes before the first goal I text messaged my friend English Rich in London to ask if England would ever score. No sooner than I hit "send" England headed one into Trinidad’s net and England was up 1-0. A short time later another goal from England made the game 2-0. All nice and good until later in the night when German TV replayed the first goal by Crouch and it was very apparent that he pulled down on the Trinidad's defenders dreadlocks to make the header. Not legal in soccer (or any sport that I can think of) and the Trinidad fans are going crazy! (I blame the rum) The video I have is the reply of Crouch's foul. Ouch! OK, unless the US beats Italy I will not bother you all with soccer for a while.

You'll Laugh Until You Dribble From Your Pee-Hole!

Now remember, I am a music teacher. Trombone was one of my main instruments. So that's the back story. Alright, this is a little older, but the first time I saw it, I busted a nut laughing so hard. Peace out, bitches!

And Now...

Okay, I figure I can put some classy videos on this thing too. Sure there may be no Indians shooting craps, kids getting beaten at school, or tit-squeezing, but it will leave you with a pleasing aftertaste none the less...

Crackers

I liked this video a lot. Maybe my favorite part is when the Chief and everyone are playing craps. It's been a long weekend and I hope everyone had fun. I hit a homerun at softball today. So I ain't complaining.
